Why Early Access?

  • Ever since our first playtest, we recognized the immense value of community involvement. Player feedback, creative ideas, and insights significantly shape our vision, helping us create the best possible version of the game. Early Access allows fans to influence the game’s development in a meaningful way.

What genre does the game belong to?

  • Level Zero: Extraction is a tactical extraction shooter with survival horror elements set in a vast expanse of space. Players take on the role of scientists aboard a derelict space station, using light-based abilities to fight off alien threats and rival mercenaries.

What modes are available?

  • Currently, Level Zero: Extraction supports both online PvP and online co-op modes.

What are your post-launch plans? Can I find a Roadmap somewhere?

  • Please visit our Steam page to see our Living Roadmap. We will soon share detailed plans for Early Access and future updates.

What about a release on consoles?

  • We plan to release the final version of the game on major consoles. Keep an eye out for official announcements regarding this.

Will there be crossplay for the multiplayer?

  • We cannot confirm or deny this yet, but we are exploring the possibility of crossplay.

Will you be able to customize your character?

  • Yes, cosmetic customization options will be available for both scientists and alien creatures.

Any plans for microtransactions? Pay-to-win?

  • The game will never include pay-to-win elements. While we may consider cosmetic microtransactions in the future, our current focus is entirely on gameplay and enhancing the player experience.

Will you gain XP while playing as a merc and alien creature?

  • Yes, playing as either a merc or alien creature will grant you experience. We also plan to introduce daily activities that allow players to earn extra XP.

Is a single-player story mode planned?

  • Level Zero: Extraction is designed as a multiplayer experience, and we do not plan to add a story campaign. However, the game will include rich lore.
