List of known issues

  • The game doesn't start. Workaround: verify the game files, delete local-v2.2.es3 from %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Animal Labs, LLC\RAWMEN\, or reinstall the Easy Anti-Cheat service by running the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe file in the game's installation folder.
  • Attempting to join a full private lobby may result in an indefinite "trying to join" state.
  • Occasionally, you might get stuck in the tournament landing scene. Workaround: Exit to the main menu and try again.

  • Will RAWMEN release on Steam? For the time being, RAWMEN is an Epic Games Store exclusive. If anything changes, we’ll give you all a heads-up!
  • Since it’s Free to Play, will there be microtransactions? Yes, RAWMEN will have microtransactions for cosmetic and customization items. There will also be a Lunch Pass where you'll be able to earn LOTS of cosmetic items just by playing. There are so many fun and absurd items we can't wait for you all to see. Creating RAWMEN has been a labor of love for us, and when you purchase items, your support really means so much to our small dev team!
  • Is it PvP only? Yes, the main competitive mode of RAWMEN pits two teams of four against each other. When you play this, you earn XP and unlock items. We also have modes to play private matches and a practice map where you can hone your skills—these modes don't grant players XP.
  • Is there team killing/friendly fire? No, you will not be able to do friendly damage to your own team, with the exception of some AoE damage weapons that can also cause damage to you if not careful, such as the blasts from the gigantic exploding tomatoes!
  • Is there controller support? Yes!
  • Are there leaderboards available in the game? Absolutely! However, we plan on improving this in a later update.
  • Are there in-game voice or chat channels? There is no text or voice chat available in the game. We want to create an environment without toxicity and trash-talking (unless you really want it), and that's where Discord servers come in.
  • How do Ultimates work, and how do you get new ones? During a match, your Ultimate bowl will fill up. The more you score or get kills, the faster it fills! Getting KO’ed on the other hand, will cause it to spill some progress. Once the bowl is filled to the top, you get to use your chosen Ultimate!You equip an Ultimate in character customization or the pre-match screen. You get new by leveling up to get special keys, then using the keys to unlock the Ultimate you want! Each Ultimate is different, from defensive shields to an onslaught of mozzarella mortars.
  • Will RAWMEN release on Switch? We're looking into options for switch porting and keeping our eyes open for news on the possibility of a Switch 2 in the future.
  • Can you heal your health in RAWMEN? Yes! Help your team and get your heal on with the new “soupport” weapon, just point the beam and shoot! You can also heal by shielding up, sliding out, and dodging incoming fire.
