How to restore a previous save

SaveData contains the five most recent saves from your current playthrough. When you select New Game, your previous playthrough is stored in a new folder inside BackupSaveData.

To restore it:

1. Close the game.

2. Open the Restory > BackupSaveData folder.

3. Open the latest numbered folder and copy the newest .restory save file.

4. Paste it into Restory > SaveData, replacing the existing file if prompted.

5. Launch the game and check your progress.

Restory folder locations:

• Windows: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Mandragora\Restory

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Mandragora/Restory

• Linux/Steam Deck: ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3812600/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Mandragora/Restory

We recommend copying your current saves folder before replacing any files!
