Improving FPS in the Sand Playtest

Some players may experience FPS issues in the current build of SAND. While optimization is ongoing, here are some ways to boost performance:

General Tips

✔ Ensure your PC meets the minimum specs. ✔ Update your GPU drivers & Windows. ✔ Close background apps.

Recommended In-Game Settings

• Upscaler → Set to TAA
• Render Resolution → Performance
• Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO) → Off (bottom of settings)
• Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI) → Off (bottom of settings)
• Lower Shadow, Materials, and Sky Quality if needed

Please note that these settings apply only to the Playtest—performance will improve before release!
