General troubleshooting
For the PC version of the game:
Update your Windows and GPU drivers.
Ensure that the game runs on your dedicated GPU instead of the integrated (common on laptops).
Verify the integrity of the game files or reinstall the game.
Temporarily disable overlays such as Nvidia App, Discord, etc.
Turn off “Optimizations for windowed games,” especially if you encounter 0x887a0005 crashes (Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Custom settings for applications > The King is Watching.exe > Uncheck Optimizations for windowed games).
Confirm your PC meets the minimum hardware requirements.
If you’re overclocking, keep in mind this can cause instability and overheating. Revert to standard clock speeds if issues occur.
Note: The team is aware of a possible memory leak in later stages of the game and is actively working on a fix!
If the problem persists, please reach out to our support team. Remember to share any error/crash messages, your PC specifications, and potential steps to reproduce the issue.
